VAIM Commences Operations of New Factory in Daejeon... JVUELOOK Production Capacity Triples

VAIM announced on the 20th that it commenced operations in early March this year after completing the construction of its third factory last year to expand production of its self-collagen-inducing product, 'JUVELOOK'. The new factory, which commenced construction in June last year and was completed in December, is located in the Daejeon International Science Business Belt hub.

VAIM expects to nearly triple its CAPA (Capacity) compared to existing facilities through the introduction of automated processes in the third factory. Additionally, they anticipate contributing to quality enhancement and yield stabilization by obtaining GMP certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. GMP, which stands for Good Manufacturing Practice, is a certification system awarded to manufacturing facilities with proven reliability and excellence in meeting standards for pharmaceutical production and quality management.

The expansion of production facilities in Okcheon and Daejeon by VAIM aims to respond to increasing product demand due to accelerated overseas business. A VAIM spokesperson stated, "We will sequentially obtain certifications such as CE MDR (Medical Device Regulation) and MDSAP (Medical Device Single Audit Program) issued by the EU to establish an advanced production system," adding, "We will accelerate sales growth by presenting excellent products through a stable supply chain."
